In one of my previous posts, I had discussed skin care tips. Today I am going to share my bedtime skincare routine which has made significant differences in my skin. So, let’s start with it.
1. Almond Oil for Face
Daily before going to bed, I spare 15 minutes for my skin. I do not use much fancy skin care products on my skin at night and want to keep it as simple and natural as possible. As I have acne prone skin so I can not take risks of experimenting with chemicals. Anyways, what I do is, first of all, I wash my face and most of the time do a good cleansing too. If you go out daily or apply makeup than cleansing before bed is a must. Use a cleanser that suits your skin.
After cleansing when I make sure that my face is cleared of all dirt or makeup. I moisturize it. Please remember that I do not use toner before bed because I use a homemade toner which I keep on spraying throughout the day. I will share the details of that toner some other day. Well, for moisturizing I use 1-2 drops of almond oil and gently rub all over the face. I have combination skin but almond oil does not make it more oily or greasy. It absorbs quickly, leaving the skin silky smooth. That’s it for the face.
2. Homemade Lip Scrub for Lips
Now coming to lips, I have shared previously about my homemade lip scrub. I use that scrub which not only removes lipstick residue but also removes dead skin. This lip scrub leaves your lips soft and pinkish. After the scrub, I apply any lip balm available. In fact, you can use vaseline too.
3. Moisturizer for Hand and Feet
I am not very picky when it comes to selecting hand and body lotions. If a lotion has a good fragrance and leaves the skin soft and smooth I will go for it, lol. Currently, I am using these too.
I give hands and feet a good massage of 3-5 minutes, daily before bed. It not only relieves the fatigue but also keeps them soft.
4. Castor Oil for Eyelashes
We all are well aware of the benefits of castor oil for healthy hair. It is equally useful for thick and long eyelashes. Apply castor oil overnight on your lashes and see the magic within a month.
